Overview

Nervonic Acid Fruit Oil is a natural woody plant oil extracted from the seeds of the rare Chinese plant Malania Oleifera (Garlic Fruit) or Acer Truncatum (Yuanbao maple). It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, including nervonic acid, and low-fat proteins, with low erucic acid content, meeting World Health Organization edible standards. It combines nutrition and safety. Currently, it is primarily produced in Guangxi, Yunnan, and other regions of China and has been declared as a new food ingredient.

Ingredients

- Nervonic Acid: Approximately 55%–67%

- Protein: Approximately 10%–20%

- Sulfides

- Allicin

Features

Nervonic Acid Fruit Oil typically appears light yellow in color, with a mild nutty aroma. It has a clear texture and good stability, making it less prone to oxidation and spoilage.

Benefits

1. It contains abundant active sulfides, which can help lower cholesterol and blood lipids, enhance vascular elasticity, and promote blood circulation. This is highly beneficial for regulating lipid metabolism and protecting cardiovascular health.

2. It is rich in nervonic acid and its ester compounds, which are essential for physiological functions. Nervonic acid, chemically known as cis-15-tetracosenoic acid, is a long-chain monounsaturated fatty acid that promotes nerve cell development, repairs nerve fiber damage, improves cognitive function, and delays neurodegenerative diseases.

3. The allicin in garlic fruit oil is a natural potent bactericidal agent that can inhibit harmful intestinal flora, enhance immunity, and prevent diseases such as colds.

Applications

1. Due to its scarcity and high cost, garlic fruit oil is considered a premium vegetable oil in food applications. It is often used in cooking or as a seasoning oil, adding a unique flavor.

2. It can be used in cosmetics and skincare for its moisturizing and nourishing effects on the skin, helping repair dry and cracked skin barriers.

3. It can be applied in neurological medicine to prevent, treat, and repair a range of brain diseases caused by nervonic acid deficiency, such as sequelae of stroke, Alzheimer's disease, and cerebral palsy. It also promotes brain development and intelligence.
