Overview  

This product is processed and extracted from the fresh branches and leaves of plants such as Cinnamomum camphora(borneol camphor), Blumea balsamifera, and others from the Lauraceae family. It appears as a white crystalline powder or flaky crystals with a refreshing fragrance and a pungent, cooling taste. It is easily soluble in ethanol, chloroform, or ether, but almost insoluble in water. It is volatile and produces dense smoke with a yellow flame when ignited.
